Gary Caine If you want to get your ex wife back you need to understand why she left you in the first place. It isn't because she found someone new, or that you were abusive, inattentive, you drank too much or any of the other reasons she may give you. In fact she likely doesn't realize what the real reason is herself. The real reason she left you is that the fantasy is gone. I know your are thinking "what in the wild world of sports is he talking about?" Listen, from the time they are little girls they dreamed about meeting their "knight in shining armor". They play house, they play with dolls - their whole world revolved around meeting and marrying the perfect man. When you came along you may not have been exactly what she pictured, but you were close enough that she could picture you being that man. You gave her hope that she could have the perfect life she's always dreamed about, and for that she was able to forgive you for your little faults. Somewhere along the way she lost hope, and her dreams were shattered. I know, it seems unfair. You can't be one of those guys in the romance novels, that against all odds slays the evil dragon and save the fair damsel in distress so that they can live happily ever after, and if you ask her about it she will tell you that she doesn't expect you to be. The problem is that all her life she had this picture of a happy home with the perfect guy, and as long as she had hope that it would be fulfilled everything was fine and she was in love with you. Somewhere along the way she lost hope for that perfect future that she's dreamed about all her life. I know this all sounds absurd, but if you think about you will see there is logic in it. Women's logic to be sure, but logic just the same. So if you want to get your wife back you need to restore her hope for you.
