A philandering wife becomes an overnight infamous celebrity that is scorned and frowned upon by the society. Once an infidel wife is found out, it's unforgivable. She will forever be marked with scarlet letter throughout her lifetime. Every body remembers a cheating wife. It is the ultimate disgrace and shame. The scandal can be so unbearable it can make the cheating person break down. When a man cheats, it becomes a prestige but when a woman cheats, it's a grave dishonor. But in spite of a heavy consequences attached to it, women still risk having an affair. Are they that desperate or just dense to think if their actions out weigh the price they have to pay when they get caught? Should we feel sorry for them? Or should we scorn them? As human beings we are not in the position to judge anybody. There are stories behind a story so who are we get ahead of the tale if we haven't read the full text. I always believe that when a woman cheats the reason is deeper than that of a man. Here are some reasons why women cheat. The most common reason why women cheat is because they have been taken for granted. No matter how much she tries to do everything in her capacity to fulfill her duties to her children and husband, there is no gratification or hint of appreciation. When it reached to a point when a couple never talks anymore about "little things" like dreams, aspirations, and ideals that's when a woman feels alienated and lonely. This is when outside attention becomes alluring and hard to resist. The need to have that somebody to talk to becomes very hard to resist. A cheating wife would then see this as an opportunity or a blessing to have finally met someone who will listen and share her thoughts with her. When a woman reached this point, having an affair becomes a guiltless act. Another reason why women cheat is living separate lives. This is when your husband prefers to go out of town with his friends and you are relieved to know that he is leaving so you can make a plan of your own. This is another reason why women cheat is because they get to realize that she has more common ground with the guy she's with than with her husband. Another reason why women cheat is to get even. Women can be vengeful and they can move heaven and hell just take their revenge. Philandering husband will not only get a dose of his own medicine but an abusive husband, too. Too much verbal, emotional and physical abuse can pave a way for a wife to cheat. This is when she can see her over as a savior and a safe place to be in. To conclude all this, why women cheat is because of loneliness and emotional distress. It usually begins in an emotional affair and progresses into a full pledge, emotional and physical affair. That's why for men out there, take time to be with her listen to her before it's too late.
