Flirtatious

Flirtatious daters are openly sexual from the word go. They have a straw in their drinks to play with seductively, are always smiling and laughing to show off their teeth, and find any excuse for physical contact. Although this type of behaviour is very successful for attracting someone, you won't be taken seriously in the long run - so maybe tone down the flirting after the first few dates!

Mysterious

This 'hard to get' personality is particularly common among men, and it is often employed as a tactic to make them seem interesting and irresistible. Bold as brass, this dater tells it like it is. On the first date, they will be telling you about their exes, warning you about their personal habits and asking some very probing questions. At least you know where you stand with someone like this, but this kind of behaviour can also be a little off-putting.

Eager

This eager beaver will text you straight after a date with something like, 'I miss you already.' They will contact you many times a day, even if you're in a different country, and will talk at length about how many children they want to have. Being too eager could definitely scare someone off!

Not everyone you meet comes with a convenient online personality profile, so try to figure out who you're dating from the hints above. As for you, remember that all dating personalities have their pitfalls - just make sure you're not too over-the-top with yours and you'll be fine.
